Disaronno and Grazia Australia hosted the launch of the new Disaronno bottle (designed by fashion designer Etro) onboard the super yacht GHOST II on Thursday 27 October 2016.
Over the years, ETRO has become synonymous with the paisley print, making the paisley print an obvious choice for the adornment of the DISARONNO bottle. The house’s signature paisley print was first used in their 1981 collection.
The Disaronno Etro bottle is draped in a stunning variation of the swirling design made up of vibrant blue, orange and gold hues.
Guests enjoyed canapes, music and a twilight sail on Sydney Harbour while drinking sunset cocktails of Disaronno Sour (made from Disaronno, fresh lemon juice and sugar) and Disaronno Etro Sour (made from Disaronno, fresh lemon juice and pineapple juice).
The canapes consisted of: watermelon with feta cheese, mint and pink peppercorn; blackened salmon with coriander and mango mojo; Peking duck pancakes with crisp cucumber and Hoi Sin sauce; chicken and lemongrass skewers with chilli and lime; onion and goats cheese pizzaladion with Pedro Ximenez glace and micro herbs; and fish and chips.
