The Grain Bar Sydney showcased their new cocktail menu created from seasonal fruits and blooms on Tuesday 11 October 2016.
The new spring/summer themed cocktail collection included ingredients such as fairy floss, marshmallows, rocky road, juniper berries, edible flowers and figs. The cocktails were designed to celebrate the longer days and brighter nights of daylight saving.
The cocktails that I tasted included:
What’s Your Number Cucumber: Refreshing cocktail made of Tanqueray Gin shaken with Yellow Chartreuse, fresh cucumber, mint & honey topped up with Prosecco.
Swipe Right: Tanqueray Gin shaken with Cointreau & fresh mango puree, dressed up with strawberry Fairy Floss.
Murphy’s Law: Bulleit Rye shaken with Rocky Road liqueur, dark agave & frozen mixed berries, touched up with a slice of Rocky Road Chocolate.
Caracas: Pampero Anejo stirred over ice with a Fig & Caramel liqueur, with a touch of molasses bitters & caramelised fig.
Project Mellow: Balanced peaty blend of Lagavulin 16yo & Johnnie Walker Black shaken with lemon butter, ginger & lemon. Sweetened up with Maple syrup & toasted marshmallow.

The new Spring/Summer cocktail range is priced from $18 to $20 and is available daily from 12noon till late.
