Indu Dining opens in Sydney’s hot spot, near Ivy, serving bold tasting Southern Indian food.
With a focus on the fragrant food of coastal India, INDU combines the region’s distinctive fresh flavours with quality seasonally sourced produce. Set to change the perception of heavy, rich Indian dishes, pedigree Head Chef Bimal Kumar’s light, modern menu will ignite the city’s passion for Indian cuisine.
With the delicate crafting of tonic and spices, the inventive cocktail list will draw inspiration from classic Indian mixology, with INDU’s signature contemporary flair.
Set in the basement of heritage listed 350 George Street, INDU’s interior transports diners to the bustling Indian villages, while also giving a gentle nod to more affluent India. With two private dining rooms and a custom made central dosa kitchen, INDU brings a theatrical dining experience, previewed through grand windows facing onto the buzz of Sydney’s CBD.
The event had no shortage of celebrities attending including Miss Universe 2004, Jennifer Hawkins, model Natalie Roser, Nova’s Matt de Groot (Fitzy and Wippa’s news reader), The Bachelors Lana Jeavons Fellows and founder of WINK Models, Taryn Williams.
INDU is located at Basement Level, 350, George Street Sydney, NSW 2000.
