VIKTORIA + WOODS unveiled their flagship Paddington store on Thursday 4 February 2016 with a select group of fashion media, bloggers and celebrities over evening drinks hosted by Nadia Fairfax.
Located on Paddington’s iconic Glenmore Road, guests gathered to celebrate the first Sydney based store for the Melbourne based womenswear powerhouse. Guests were greeted by girl of the moment, Nadia Fairfax who later toasted to the brands founders, Margie Woods and Lisa Reynolds in front of a directional floral installation by Mr Cook.
Attendees included Anna Bamford, Eleanor Pendleton, Bianca Cheah, Chloe Hill, and Beck Wadworth. An array of canapes curated by Kate White of Katering were served, alongside champagne from Laurent Perrier, Bird in Hand wine and VOSS Water.
Expansion into the Sydney market is a natural progression for the Victoria based brand, following its freestanding Melbourne Boutique and David Jones wholesale presence. Designed by Fiona Lynch, The Paddington stores interiors display a minimalistic sense of luxury with artistic accents that reflect the cultured craftsmanship of the styles in store.
The opening of the VIKTORIA + WOODS Paddington boutique has also coincided with the release of the brands highly anticipated Autumn/Winter 2016 collection, ASSEMBLY.
